The Illinois College of Emergency Physicians is conducting this EMS Needs Assessment on behalf of the Illinois Department of Public Health. The purpose of this study is to obtain information on the needs of EMS provider agencies and the services being provided to the citizens of the State of Illinois. Results from this survey will be used to find areas where improvement is needed in the training and recruitment of EMS personnel, and to generally improve the level of EMS care provided to the citizens of the State of Illinois.
