Academic Forum Resident Program & Career Fair

The Academic Forum is a half-day educational program targeted at residents, with a dual focus on research and emergency medicine career planning. This year, ICEP is proud to introduce the Career Fair, a new feature of the Academic Forum. The Career Fair will follow the Academic Forum and is open to all Illinois emergency medicine residents and attending physicians, free of charge.
Exhibit opportunities are available at both the Career Fair and at the Academic Forum program.
Opportunities for Recruiters at Career Fair
At the Career Fair, interact with Illinois' residents and help them discover the career opportunities available to them at your hospital, company, or organization. Interact with more than 200 emergency department residents and attending physicians during a "Speed Dating"-style lunch, designed to maximize your contact with all attendees. Exhibitors will rotate through lunch tables, spending approximately 10 minutes with each table of participants. Exhibitors are encouraged to a bring a 1-page flier outlining the job opportunities specifics and overview of the hospital or company.
Opportunities for Exhibitors at Academic Forum Program
If you have a program or service to market to emergency physicians and residents instead of a job opportunity, consider exhibiting at the Academic Forum program. Make contacts with physicians and residents during the morning continental breakfast and registration, during program breaks, and before lunch.
