The Illinois Tactical Officers Association (ITOA) Tactical EMS Committee announces the 6th Annual ITOA Tactical EMS Conference and Vendor Expo. This two-day conference and vendor expo is scheduled for April 30 and May 1, 2007 and will be held at the Matteson Holiday Inn in Matteson, Illinois, a southern Chicago suburb. 

This conference, co-chaired by ICEP member E. John Wipfler, MD, FACEP, will again feature a mixture of classroom presentations by leading national and statewide TEMS instructors as well as a series of intensive hands-on TEMS scenarios using state-of-the-art equipment taught by experienced TEMS instructors. The conference opening presentation will feature a critical operational debrief by Dr. Alex Eastman, the SWAT doctor who treated 4 wounded police officers shot on approach to serving a warrant. 

While the primary goal of the 6th Annual ITOA Tactical EMS conference is to train and educate both new and experienced tactical LEOs, TEMS officers, and other medical personnel, it also serves as an excellent opportunity for participants to network, while fostering cooperation and mutual support of TEMS throughout Illinois, the Midwest, and throughout the USA.  The Vendor Expo will feature all of the latest and greatest TEMS and related equipment.
