Nathan Deal, PGY 1, of the University of Chicago Section of Emergency Medicine residency program, has been elected President of EMRA during the Scientific Assembly in Boston.

Dr. Deal will serve as President-Elect for the 2009-2010 term and will assume his role as President for the 2010-2011 term.

“I look forward to … building upon the success of our organization,” Deal said in his candidate statement. “I will be committed to further strengthening our organization and advocating for those issues most fundamental to its members.”
