ICEP supports emergency medicine in Illinois with a strong, ongoing
research base. The ICEP Research Committee sponsors two annual
events to showcase new emergency medicine research.
Illinois emergency medicine residents are selected to present
their original research at the annual Resident Academic Forum.
Held each spring, the forum provides an opportunity for each Illinois
emergency medicine residency to select one resident and research
project for presentation. Judges award first and second prizes
to selected research projects.
A showcase of Illinois emergency medicine is presented at the
ICEP Annual Meeting. Abstracts are selected based on contribution
to science and interest to meeting participants. A broad range
of research projects is encouraged.
The
deadline for submission of abstracts for the 2004 annual meeting
is COB May 2, 2004. Use the attached form to submit an abstract
to the Research Committee.
