Lead ICEP. Represent Illinois.

ICEP offers of number of opportunities throughout the year to get involved. Most applications open in the Spring, but please reach out to the ICEP Office if you are looking for a way to get involved!

Board of Directors

Serve at the highest level of ICEP governance. Board Members shape organizational strategy, financial director, and the future of emergency medicine in Illinois.

Applications are currently closed, they will open again in January.

Councillor & Alternate Councillor

Represent Illinois emergency physicians at the national level. Councillors voice member concerns, vote on ACEP policy, and elect national leadership at the Annual ACEP Council Meeting.

Join a Committee

Committee terms are 1-year. Terms being at the conclusion of the Ginny Kennedy Palys Annual Symposium to the next when the term expires. All committee members must reapply if interested in serving on the same committee or new the beginning of each year. The applications are ongoing, submmit your Committee interest today to get involved.

Certifying Exam Review Course Faculty

Interested in serving as faculty for ICEP’s Virtual Certifying Exam Review Courses? Courses are held via Zoom and can be completed from home. All applicants must have passed their Emergency Medicine Certifying Exam.

Eligibility & Expectations

Eligibility

Must be an ACEP/ ICEP Member in good standing
May serve on no more than two committees per year
Exceptions at the direction of the ICEP Leadership

Actively collaborate on committee tasks
complete ICEP Volunteer Orientation
