Mission: To support, develop, and amplify the voice of emergency physicians to promote excellence in emergency care

Advocacy:
- Advocate that non-physician providers should not independently practice emergency medicine
- Support a fair, safe practice environment for the healthcare team and patients are necessary for high-quality care
- Advocate for resources and fair reimbursement
- Create awareness that emergency physicians are advocates for high-quality, accessible, and equitable emergency care
- Develop advocacy strategy in alignment with our membership strategy
Sustainability:
- Explore other sources of revenue that are in alignment with ICEP’s strategic plan and goals.
- Evaluate all programs and services through perspectives of financial sustainability and accountability
- Develop and evaluate non-dues revenue streams that are alignment with the ICEP strategic plan
- Evaluate budget and progress to ensure alignment of goals
- Develop, implement, and evaluate annual communication, marketing, and social media strategies
- Develop strategies to illustrate ACEP and ICEP’s value proposition
- Research and explore areas for growth and how to target non-member markets
Professional Development:
- Develop and implement education, career development, and leadership programs for emergency medicine physicians
- Develop and identify strategies for emergency medicine research through communication, growth, and dissemination
- Explore and identify strategies for practice management including tools, resources, and outreach
- Explore and research opportunities for workforce development
