ACT NOW to Urge Congress to Stop Medicare Cuts
As you know, physicians and other providers face a 2.8% cut to Medicare reimbursements that, absent congressional intervention, will go into effect on January 1, 2025.
Please contact your U.S. Representative to urge them to sign on to the bipartisan congressional “Dear Colleague” letter led by Reps. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, MD (R-IA) and Jimmy Panetta (D-CA) that asks the leadership of the House of Representative not just to stop the cut, but also to provide physicians with a much-needed inflationary update that accounts for the increased costs of providing care. We need your voice to make this a priority with Congress.
This message needs to get to your legislators ASAP – the deadline to sign the letter is September 27.
Please urge your U.S. Representative to sign on to the bipartisan Miller-Meeks/Panetta “Dear Colleague.”
