Farewell to Ginny Kennedy Palys

Many of us weren’t sure this day would ever come, even though we knew it had to come eventually, After 37 years as Executive Director, Ginny Kennedy Palys has made the decision to retire in July. We are proud of all she has accomplished and happy for her as she begins a new chapter of life, but we are deeply saddened to see her go at the same time. Since her start at ICEP in 1984, she has worked tirelessly to advance emergency medicine, and she leaves behind a tremendous legacy for those who come after her.
